Scratch Repair Pen Tokya
A very easy-to-use and precise repair pen for spot painting car paint and other painted surfaces.
The Tokya Scratch Repair Pen is a paint pen specifically designed for spot painting small areas. It is suitable for paint surfaces of cars, motorcycles, heavy equipment, etc. as well as all other painted surfaces. The Scratch Repair Pen enables the application of spot paint or varnish with extreme precision to stone chips, deep scratches and all other paint surface defects. The operation of the repair pen is based on the surface tension of the paint: the pen has a small "cup" into which the spot paint is dispensed. The pen then releases paint through its nozzle (0.5 mm) whenever the tip touches the surface to be painted, i.e. the surface tension is broken.
The body of the pen is roughened to ensure a comfortable, firm grip. In addition, a tool for cleaning the nozzle is cleverly hidden in the body of the paint pen: the body breaks off in the middle with a thread, and the cleaning tool is attached to the end of the broken part. This way it is always protected and with you, and cannot get lost during work. The repair pen works best on horizontal surfaces, but at the right angle it can also be used to repair defects on doors and other vertical surfaces.

Autodude's quick guide
Buy a repair paint kit or the right paint against the color code from a paint shop or car brand service. A shop that sells car paints sells the color and hardener separately, which you have to mix in the right ratio (make sure the ratio is for each paint separately). Mix the paint thoroughly and dispense the paint into the cup in the pen. It is a good idea to break the surface tension of the paint from time to time with a needle or, for example, a toothpick, so that the paint sinks into the cup properly. It is also a good idea to have a towel or cloth in your other hand to wipe the pen nozzle clean if it gets messy. When the cup is full, clean the outer surfaces of the cup from the paint. Tap the tip of the pen against, for example, paper so that the paint sinks into the nozzle. When paint starts to appear on the paper, it is time to move on to the actual painting.
Large strokes can be painted by following the edges of the stroke with a sharp marker tip, and small strokes can be hidden with a couple of dabs. If paint is splattered, it is best to water-sand and polish it to the level of the paint surface, but if desired, the paint can also be easily applied to the level of the paint surface, making sanding and polishing unnecessary. The procedure itself is very simple and it is difficult to fail badly.
If you get paint in the wrong place, wipe it off immediately. Clean the gold marker thoroughly after each use with thinner, IPA or another effective solvent cleaner and the nozzle cleaning tool on the pen handle.
